ECT’s chairman was picked as the jury’s favourite winner in the Impact Trophies 2022
15 December 2022 – Laurent Mogno, the chairman of ECT, received the Impact Trophy – Jury Favourite – for 2022. Organised by the L’Opinion newspaper, the Impact Trophies recognised the achievements of seven men and women whose commitment is having a positive impact on French society. The awards ceremony took the form of a real discussion on the impact and responsibility of businesses.
The jury’s nomination of Laurent Mogno as favourite reflects his work as a “rehabilitator of spoil“. Through him, it was a commendation for a development model forming part of the circular economy for soil excavated in the construction and public works sector. Handed over by Nicolas Beytout, the founder and chairman of L’Opinion, this trophy represents recognition of ECT’s work.

Interviewed for the L’Opinion newspaper, Laurent Mogno stated: “Making an impact means being useful and, whether directly or indirectly, meeting a need. The diversity of the developments carried out by ECT is something we are proud of. I have worked for this ability to adapt to the desires of the regions on a local scale. Excavated soils have become an extraordinary material for the creation of tomorrow’s spaces for nature, agriculture and leisure.”
