With soil from construction sites, ECT creates a space for recreation and leisure
September 2023 | ECT Hauts-de-France opens a new site in the town of Loison-sous-Lens.
On the site, the reuse of soil excavated from local construction sites directly contributes to the creation of a new space for recreation and leisure.
The work is scheduled to last four months.
Access
The new ECT site is 2 km from exit 12 « Carvin, Harnes, Loison-sous-Lens » on the A21 freeway.
To ensure safe access to the site, compulsory routes must be taken into and out of the site.
Prior to evacuating their soil from the site, earthworkers must have validated a Declaration of Prior Authorization for their site with ECT, and make a reservation with ECT’s dedicated service.

A development project at the entrance to the Parc des Berges de la Souchez in partnership with the municipality
Site transformation is carried out in partnership with the Municipality of Loison-sous-Lens.
The project is part of a process to develop a leisure and recreation area in the Parc des Berges de la Souchez. The project adds to the amenities of the site, particularly by building a belvedere.
The project has different functions:
• a place to enjoy nature in the city with the creation of woodlands, groves, wetlands and an orchard,
• a space for recreation, meeting and entertainment, with the possibility of setting up open-air cafes.
