ECT puts its expertise at the service of its construction and public works (PBT).
As a major player in the recovery of excavated soil from the construction industry, ECT offers to support its clients. And to help them decipher the many recent regulatory changes.
2 training sessions in the form of webinars are open to our earthmoving partners to inform them of the operational implications and deadlines.
Réda Semlali, Director of Institutional Relations at ECT and President of French UNEV (National Federation of Public Works), will facilitate the 2 sessions that take place:
- Tuesday, March 8, at 6 pm
- or Wednesday, March 16, at 4 pm

Strengthening the traceability of excavated soil
The anti-waste and circular economy law, known as the French AGEC law, (The Anti Wastage & Circular Economy law) dates from February 2020. It strengthens the traceability of waste, excavated soil and sediments. Its objective is to improve knowledge of these deposits to improve their inclusion in the circular economy. And to take effective action to prevent environmental damage.
The decrees and ministerial orders following the French AGEC law reinforce traceability, notably by:
- An evolution of the formalism and information of the quotations between the earthmoving companies and ECT.
- A change in the number of applications for prior acceptance.
- An extension of the scope of the obligation to keep chronological registers.
- The creation of a national register of excavated soil.
