Between 2019 and 2023, on the Grange Le Roi site to the west of the commune, in partnership with SAFER, ECT has carried out the agricultural and ecological transformation of the site. The circular economy of excavated soil is at the heart of the revitalization of this derelict land. The contribution of soil has helped to shape and finance the agricultural and ecological renewal.
June 2023 – The agricultural rehabilitation project carried out in partnership with SAFER IDF enters a new phase. After 4 years of soil input, earthworks, levelling and fertilization, the site is now closed to soil input. To make way for agricultural and ecological renewal. The reconstitution of fertile soil and natural environments has returned 16 ha to agriculture for grazing, and 10 ha for the preservation, restoration and creation of ecological zones. These natural environments encourage flora and fauna and support the nearby agricultural activity.
