[REVUE PRESSE] LE JOURNAL DU GRAND PARIS – “100% OF THE LAND USED BY ECT FOR THE GRAND PARIS EXPRESS PROJECT WILL BE RECLAIMED”.

Laurent Mogno, Chairman of the ECT Group, talks to Catherine Bernard of the Journal du Grand Paris.

This exchange gives Laurent Mogno the opportunity to go back over the definition of “inert soil”. And on the notion of “land reclamation”. He reminds us that the reuse of excavated soil is an opportunity for regional development and biodiversity. So it’s soil from the “Trou des Halles de Paris” that forms the contours of the Parc de la Courneuve. The park is now classified as a Natura 2000 site.

In this interview, Laurent Mogno explains how ECT manages soil from the Grand Paris Express project, in particular from tunnel boring machines. And how 100% of the GPE land entrusted to ECT will be used for development. And this is true regardless of the administrative framework for authorizing the reuse of these soils.
