History of the "Carrière de Bajolet" site
Quarrying began in 1924. It is open-cast mined for clay. Taken over in 1979, it was partially restored to safety. In 2004, ECT proposed to take over this former quarry in order to secure it completely, propose a renaturation project and develop a natural area.
