Val-Saint-Germain, a renaturation project
On a former clay quarry, the project involves restoring the land to its natural state. Our initiative is part of a drive to restore biodiversity. The aim is to recreate favorable habitats for local flora and fauna, and in particular for species such as the gravelot, the whinchat and the woodlark.
- Creation of grassland areas.
- Development of sandy lawn environments.
- Planting of scattered shrubs, reconstitution of a picketed lawn.
- Planting of wooded areas to reinforce the wooded continuity of the Rambouillet and Fontainebleau forests.
