The ECT site at Villeneuve-sous-Dammartin (77), under the Roissy airport runways, is the largest site in the Paris region for the reception and reuse of excavated soil. Discover, filmed from the air, the working riverbanks where inert soil excavated from construction sites all over the Paris region is unloaded. You can also find out what happens to land that has already been reused on this site: it’s now cultivated fields, reforested hillsides or even an orchard. A true demonstration of renaturation and restored fertility. It is on this same site that, from 2024, Roissy passengers will discover “Les Yeux du Ciel”, a work of aerial land art by Antoine Grumbach and ECT.
