AKUO, a partner for solar projects

Akuo is France’s leading independent producer of distributed renewable energy. The Group develops photovoltaic, wind, biomass and hydraulic energies. In March 2019, Akuo and ECT will create a joint subsidiary, ACT-E. The aim is to increase photovoltaic energy production in the Paris region.

ACT-E wants to develop a local, regional approach: offering green electricity produced locally in the Paris region. This partnership between the two companies aims to optimize the performance of photovoltaic power plants by adapting their layout. On the sites identified, ECT’s earthworks play a decisive role in creating a shape designed to give the photovoltaic panels the best possible exposure to the sun. This type of layout also facilitates better integration of the solar power plant into the landscape.

ACT-E’s first project is the Les Gabots photovoltaic power plant in Annet-sur-Marne (77) with a capacity of of 17MWp.

Installation of the first panel of one of the largest photovoltaic power plants in the Paris region

The 1st panel of the solar power plant was officially installed on November 14. In the presence of the mayor of Annet-sur-Marne, Christian Marchandeau, the vice-president of the regional council, Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, and Eric Scotto, president and founder of Akuo.
