Missions and skills
The receiving agent’s job is to control the entry of our earthmoving customers’ trucks onto the sites. He/she checks the administrative and visual conformity of the soil transported, and the weight of incoming and outgoing lorries. He/she also checks that safety conditions are respected by the drivers.
Testimonial
“I have to check that the load is what we expect it to be. And if I spot any prohibited items, I don’t let the truck through. It’s refused at the entrance, as it is at all ECT sites.”
Céline – reception agent
Céline, a receiving agent for over 20 years, checks loads and ensures driver safety. The receiving agent scans the driver’s unloading slip, and checks that all the data corresponds exactly to the DAP (Demande d’Acceptation Préalable) and to the reservation made by the company dropping off its loads. In partnership with Mag Journal 77, find the interview of Céline, reception agent, on the Grisy-Suisnes site, by clicking here.
