Missions and skills

The machine operator’s job is to carry out preparatory earthworks on the site and place the soil in place, in accordance with the development plan. He also creates the final models for the site.

Testimonial

“What interests me is the rendering of the mounds and hillsides: we apply ourselves. It’s a job that will then enable the green spaces teams to make the place more beautiful.”

Luc – machine operator

ECT machine operators have the particularity of working on sloping terrain. Every day, they work the land to shape the landscape and create the living spaces of the future. ECT sites are home to a large number of machines and their operators. Between the backhoe, the loader, the sweeper, the dumper and the bulldozer, every piece of construction equipment is essential to land acceptance and site development.  In partnership with Mag Journal 77, click here to read the interview with Luc, a machine operator at ECT’s Villeneuve-sous-Dammartin site.

Finalizing the model is one of the tasks of a machine operator. Watch a video of Albano explaining his job from his bull at the ECT site in Louvres (95).
