Our leadership mobilizes the varied skills of environmental engineers and technicians, surveyors, landscape architects, project developers, machine operators, bull operators, mechanics and administrative staff. They all combine their know-how to serve our customers in the building and civil engineering sector and local authority projects.

To structure its business, ECT has developed 3 areas of expertise:

These services deploy ECT’s expertise in the reception, inspection and application of soil at excavated soil management and reclamation sites. They also design and coordinate all site developments.

"Designing and building landscapes

These services offer local authorities concerted, useful projects to enhance the value of the land by reusing inert soil. They work with the relevant departments to obtain authorizations for these projects.

Our business lines

The  account manager assists earthworker customers in the building and civil engineering sector, from the validation of the commercial offer for the evacuation of their site soil to the use of their secure customer area. Each job is unique, and our expertise lies in being a privileged partner to meet our customers’ expectations and constraints.

The project manager manages the technical and financial follow-up of offers for the disposal of site soil. As part of the company’s sales department, he/she is in contact with our customers in the building and civil engineering sector. 

The environmental technician works on our customers’ construction sites. He/she checks the application of the mesh plan. And, depending on the type of soil, ensures that excavated soil is disposed of in the right way.

The green spaces technician carries out the planting and renaturation of our projects. He/she works as part of a team. Every year, nearly 10,000 trees are planted. 

The landscape designer carries out landscape diagnostics to design the layout of projects. He/she helps define the new use of the site. adapts the site’s landscaping to fit in with its surroundings and participates in the natural environment restoration plan. 

The machine operator’s job is to carry out preparatory earthworks on the site and place the soil in place, in accordance with the development plan. He also creates the final models for the site. 

The mechanical workshop plays a key role. It maintains and repairs ECT’s entire fleet of machines. The aim is to reduce machine downtime during breakdowns.

The usher works on operating sites. He/she plays a key role in ensuring that unloading operations comply with safety regulations. Planners are trained in the three key issues of quality, safety and the environment.  

The project manager develops projects with an environmental or social vocation. It steers design and dialogue with stakeholders. Then the authorizations for opening and monitoring during construction.

The Quality Engineer ensures quality control of materials entering ECT sites. It receives complex declarations of prior acceptance, examines the studies and plans supplied and carries out administrative and technical checks.

The receiving agent’s job is to control the entry of our earthmoving customers’ trucks onto the sites. He/she checks the administrative and visual conformity of the soil transported, and the weight of incoming and outgoing lorries. He/she also checks that safety conditions are respected by the drivers.

The surveyor draws up plans for future projects. He/she is also in the field to carry out topographic surveys. And to ensure consistency between plans and implementation in the field.

VRD

VRD teams work on sites in the Ile-de-France and Hauts-de-France regions. They prepare and maintain operating sites. A job that requires real versatility. 

Apprenticeship and mentoring with ECT, quality training

Apprenticeships, internships and mentorships are a real springboard for integration into the world of work. They offer access to practical training, the chance to learn a trade and acquire know-how.

Professional equality index

The company is committed on a daily basis to the active respect of professional equality between men and women.

Within this framework, and in accordance with the Law on the Freedom to Choose one’s Professional Future, ECT calculates its gender equality index every year. The perimeter used for its calculation is the ECT Economic and Social Unit.

The index is based on 100 points. It is calculated on the basis of 4 indicators:

Analysis of the distribution of individual increases

Calculation of the number of employees receiving a raise upon return from maternity leave

Analysis of parity among the 10 highest earners

For the year 2023, the ECT ESCU obtains 92 points out of 100 :

  • Pay gap: 37 / 40 points
  • Individual increase rate differential: 35 / 35 points
  • Return from maternity leave indicator: 15 / 15 points
  • Parity among the 10 highest earners : 5/10 points
