Education for sustainable development: ECT sets up initiatives for young audiences

Participate in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) ECT offers its services to elementary school as part of their Education for Sustainable Development program. The aim is to introduce students to the ECT projects underway in their local communities. These interventions raise awareness of the circular economy principle behind these developments: derelict sites take shape thanks to the reuse of soil from urban construction sites. Last December, pupils atVasarely elementary school in Annet-sur-Marne (77) had the opportunity to discover two projects built using soil excavated from construction sites in the Paris region: the Gabots photovoltaic power plant (in partnership with Akuo)

[Substrat fertile] Launch of the “Land Makers” demonstrator

The “Faiseurs de Terre” group is rolling out its 100% recycled, local and socially responsible fertile substrate demonstrator. It’s happening on the Lil’Ô site in L’ÃŽle-Saint-Denis (93). This is where the “Earth Makers” deploy their fertile substrate demonstrator. The consortium includes Neo-Eco, Halage and ECT. It develops a pooling of skills and resources. The aim was to validate the manufacturing process for a new fertile substrate. A growing medium made entirely of recycled products: inert soil, crushed concrete and green waste compost. The conviction of “Les Faiseurs de Terre” is that this fertile, recycled, local and supportive substrate should become
