In the commune of Val-Saint-Germain (91), the project led by ECT is an environmental development that rehabilitates 19 hectares of undeveloped industrial wasteland at a former clay quarry. After securing the pond, the aim of the project is to revegetate the site. This development contributes to the preservation of biodiversity in Essonne.

Val-Saint-Germain, a renaturation project

On a former clay quarry, the project involves restoring the land to its natural state. Our initiative is part of an approach to restoring biodiversity. The aim is to recreate favorable habitats for local flora and fauna, and in particular for species such as the gravelot, the whinchat and the woodlark.
