About ECT

ECT is part of a circular economy approach to the reuse of excavated soil from construction sites.

ECT’s reuse of inert building site soil enables it to self-finance non-built projects with an environmental and social vocation : landscaped parks, urban nature and sports areas, afforestation and biodiversity zones, agricultural rehabilitation, photovoltaic farms.

The “Environment and inert soils” department identifies soil management channels and organizes the traceability of materials, while the “Development and planning” department works with local authorities and developers to design projects for the reuse of inert soils, projects that are both concerted and conducive to biodiversity.

Key figures: founded in 1997 â•‘230 employees â•‘A dozen sites in operation in the Paris region â•‘15 million tonnes of excavated material processed / year â•‘ 10,000 trees planted / year
